Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Card Price Lookup Chrome Extension and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Blue Luchador LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Service and all associated technology, content, and functionality are the exclusive property of Blue Luchador LLC.

This includes, without limitation:

• Source code and object code
• Backend systems and APIs
• Matching algorithms and scoring methodologies
• Data normalization and enrichment processes
• Comp aggregation logic
• Trade secrets and proprietary workflows
• User interface and experience design
• Documentation, branding, and trademarks

All intellectual property rights are reserved. No rights are granted except those expressly provided in these Terms.

2. Limited License

Subject to these Terms, Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal or internal business use only.

This license does not include any right to sublicense, distribute, resell, lease, assign, or otherwise commercialize the Service or its outputs.

3. Strict Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive source code
• Attempt to extract algorithms, models, prompts, or scoring systems
• Access or call backend APIs outside the authorized Extension
• Circumvent subscription limits or usage controls
• Use automation, bots, scripts, or scraping tools
• Benchmark the Service for competitive purposes
• Use the Service to evaluate or replicate internal performance
• Extract output systematically to build databases
• Mirror or replicate the Service
• Use output to train machine learning systems
• Develop, enhance, or operate a competing product using the Service or its output
• Conduct penetration testing without written authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt Service infrastructure

Any violation results in immediate termination of access.

4. Trade Secrets and Confidential Methods

The Service incorporates confidential and proprietary trade secrets.

You agree not to:

• Reconstruct proprietary workflows
• Infer internal logic through systematic testing
• Analyze output to reverse engineer scoring systems
• Disclose proprietary insights obtained through use

Unauthorized use may constitute trade secret misappropriation under applicable law.

5. Output Restrictions

Comps, data, and results provided by the Service are for informational purposes only.

You may use output for personal evaluation.

You may not:

• Redistribute output at scale
• Create derivative databases
• Publish bulk data
• Resell or sublicense output
• Use output for commercial aggregation

Company reserves the right to restrict or terminate accounts engaging in misuse.

6. Subscription Terms

Certain features require payment.

By subscribing, you agree to:

• Provide accurate billing information
• Pay all fees
• Accept automatic renewal unless canceled

Refunds are discretionary unless required by law.

We may suspend accounts for:

• Non-payment
• Chargebacks
• Abuse or excessive automated activity

7. No Affiliation

Card Price Lookup and Blue Luchador LLC are not affiliated with or endorsed by any marketplace, livestream platform, grading company, or manufacturer.

Third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.”

Company disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including:

• Accuracy of identification
• Accuracy of comps
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement
• Continuous availability

You assume all risk associated with use.

8A. Card Identification and Market Data Accuracy

The Service uses automated image recognition and algorithmic processing to identify trading cards and retrieve associated market data.

Identification results are generated by automated systems and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or incorrect. The Service may misidentify a card, including but not limited to:

• Incorrect year
• Incorrect set
• Incorrect variation or parallel
• Incorrect card number
• Incorrect player attribution

Market data and comps are based on third-party data sources and automated matching logic and may not correspond to the actual card being viewed or sold.

Users are solely responsible for independently verifying all card details and market information before making purchasing, pricing, listing, or investment decisions.

Blue Luchador LLC shall not be liable for any losses, damages, pricing discrepancies, purchasing decisions, sales outcomes, or other financial consequences resulting from:

• Incorrect card identification
• Mismatched comps
• Incomplete or outdated market data
• Reliance on automated results

Use of the Service is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Company shall not be liable for:

• Financial decisions based on comps
• Lost profits
• Business interruption
• Data loss
• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

Total liability shall not exceed the total fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Blue Luchador LLC from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Service
• Violation of these Terms
• Violation of third-party platform terms
• Unauthorized data extraction

11. Injunctive Relief

You acknowledge that unauthorized use of the Service may cause irreparable harm.

Company is entitled to seek injunctive or equitable relief without posting bond in addition to other remedies available at law.

12. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved by binding arbitration in the State of Colorado.

You waive the right to participate in class actions, class arbitrations, or representative proceedings.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Termination

Company may suspend or terminate access at any time for violation of these Terms.

Upon termination, all licenses granted under these Terms immediately terminate.

15. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without prior written consent.

Company may assign its rights without restriction.

16. Force Majeure

Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond its reasonable control.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Blue Luchador LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
